am i missing anything ?
anything you recommend getting rid of and replacing?

Why do you want to get the 128bit 9800pro, it's like a faster 9600pro, for just a little more you can get an 256bit 9800pro or an 6600gt(faster then the 9800pro), and besides the price of the 9800 cards are supposed to come down soon.

Here is a link to a 6600gt agp version:

it's a bit expensive but I think you can find it cheaper somewhere else, and if you look at the other 6600gt which are for pci-e are around $200

ok so thats a start :)

do u think the CPU + mobo Combo is a good choice?

or would you recommend goign to a AXP-M2600+ and chipping in water cooling for sure?

I don't know much about that mobo, but I've had a gigabyte and it was great, a lot of usefull features. I would recommend that you wait until the nforce boards are out and then you could get an pci-e card. I don't think you should go with the the AXP, after your done ocing that bad boy it's probably going to be a lot better then the 2600+.

I would stay away from the powercolor card. Its not a real 9800 pro. I accidentally bought it, and it didnt perform like a real 9800 pro. For like.. 50 bucks more you can get the saphire 9800 pro which I now have. Im told its a good card.. havent tried it out yet.. but I can't wait to play half life 2 :-]

Both Saphire and Powecolor makes the slow 9800pro, just make sure that when you buy it it has a 256bit mem bandwidth NOT 128bit, sometimes the slow ones are called 9800pro EZ when a powercolor or a Atlantis when an Saphire. The real 9800pro run around 200 dollars or more at newegg:

here is a link to one but newegg is out of them, actually the only good 9800pro at newegg right now is the AIW, strangely they are out of most good 9800pro.
