saw a ebay item very cheap is this cpu any good worth buying? for a cpu to play with overclocking?

How much would it run ya? It won't OC really well, but it should be unlocked, so you play around with it and learn some stuff.
But just for OCing and getting lots of MHz out of it, I'd guess its useless.

well I guess that upto around $35-40 bucks its an ok buy, although I'd really recommend just get a mobile 2500+ barton or 2600+ if you can afford it.
