I have a pair of Corsair XMS PC4000 sticks with the Hynix D43 Rev. B chips. Does anyone know what these are capable of? I have them running at stock right now (250mhz @ 3-4-4-8) which is kind of crummy timings. What voltage will I need to get these to 2.5-3-3-8?

I have Hynix D5 and i'm sure they can do tighter than what I have them at now but with all the extra timings i can set, they are very fast.

275mhz is not uncommon at 2.8-2.9v, 3-4-4-8. I would try 2.8v-2.9v if you're staying at 250mhz.

Whatever you decide, always try to stay with 1T.

if u have an early version of their pc4000 b4 they came out with the pc4400 etc. u have a good chance of getting a good overclocker the rev.b needs about 2.9v-3.0 volts max and will run like 2.3.3.5 to about 220 mhz. and 2.5. 4.4.8 and 3 .4.4.8 to 250+, sometimes up to 275/280 or more. however if it is a later version of the pc4000 then all the better stuff went into their pc4400 and i wouldnt expect a monster oc..

That is one of my other problems. Even at 3-4-4-8 I can't boot at 1t. Isn't this ram rated for that???? What gives?

I just cranked 2.8 volts through it and got it to 266mhz at 3-4-4-8 and it crashed. I guess I am somewhat frustrated. This was NOT cheap ram.
