Server Up and Running!


To my profound amazement, my Linux web server is up and running? Is there anything security-wise that I need to do to it? Here's a link to it if that matters:

one thing that would be cool is to get a DNS server so you will not allways have to tell ppl to go to 222.222.222 just go to www.no-ip.com and sign up to get a redirect it works easy and its FREE!!! have fun and for security trie to ask around on IRC channels they can help you more and just look around Linux server allso make sure youre Linux Box is upto dayt allso what Linux are you using the best for webservers is SlackWare you can get it for free @ www.slackware.com just DL from the FTP just Look for the ISO one you need to get all 3

SlackWARE 8.0
install.iso
source.iso
extra.iso

is all you need its around 600mb each so make sure you got the room well have fun and if you need more Linux help ask away i will be installing my Linux server soon so i will help you the best way i can
