Tomb Raider: Chronicles Help..

How do you enable the cheat like the all weapons? I followed the direction from couple of websites but the cheat didn't take effect.. Cheat works no problem in other Tomb Raider games I have.. Help!!

also, how do you face directly north??.. unlike the other past tomb raider series, this one has no compas!! so How can u tell?
