i just removed my hsf cause my temps were rising so i thought maybe the hsf isn't seated correctly. so i removed it and before re-applying as2 i noticed that two really big pieces in the bottom right and left of the core were completely CHIPPED OFF!!! it may sound really weird but it still works!! i guess i'm really lucky :)

This has happened to quite a few of us, but as I was telling someone yesterday, you must be even more carefull with it now that it's been chipped. It will be even more prone to damage. I learned this the hard way with my 1703mHZ birdy. So treat her like she was the only chip you could have for a year! ;)
