Digidoc 5 problem, please help!

Hey, not sure if this is the right section (if not move it plz), butI recieved a digidoc 5 yesterday and the backlighting for the lcd was always on. But then I fiddled a bit with the settings and the backlights only go on when I use it, then it shuts off when I'm done. I used the reset switch and it didn't help, I got this used so I dont have a manual to look at. Anyone know how to turn the backlights to be always on? Thanks!
