Lexmark/newegg?

I just bought a defective Lexmark printer through Newegg. I tried to RMA but Newegg site says it will not RMA refund or even a repair. I have to go through Lexmark.

Has anyone gone through this before?

Right under the item title:
"**This item is warranted through the product manufacturer only."

I just realized that.....most if not all printers are warrant through manufactor.

What I don't like is that I'm locked on this printer or brand.

Should of went to wally world.
