Dual Channel Ram

Quick question everyone. I have the K8n neo2 mb
and two sticks of matched Mushkin ram 2x256.
I have been running them in slot 1 and 2 but looking
at mb manual it looks like they should be in slots 1 and 3
for dual channel mode. Anyone that can tell me which
way is correct....

Also any program out there that can show if ram is running in dual channel mode?...

Use slots 1 & 2 or 3 & 4 - green& purple - for dual ch. (for DDR400).

Watch during POST - this will indicate if you are running dual ch.

Also get CPU-Z (ver 1.24 or higher)

Ok Thanks I was wondering the same thing. I set mine up in 1 & 3.

I'm gonna go try 1 & 2.
