I bought ECC instead of Non ECC am I screwed?

I made a mistake when I bought my memory and I ended up buying ECC memory instead of Non Ecc, my motherboard is EPOX EP-5EGA+, I do think I read on my motherboard that it was Non ECC memory only, then what would happened? the ECC wouldnt work or the whole system wouldnt work?

So the system wont take it for sure, damnit Well I guess I will just put it on ebay if thats the case
