I have an Asus P4C800 Deluxe Mobo- installed RAM, CPU, and heatsink. When I connect the 20 pin power wire and the 4 pin CPU power wire and turn it on the only thing that happens is the green led light on the mobo coming on, no PSU fan, no CPU fan? What can be wrong? How can I tell which- Mobo or PSU or CPU is bad- or am i doing somethign incorrectly. Please advise.

Sounds like the wires to the mobo from front panel are not correct..The white wires are ground...The colored wires are positive..
Look closely at your mobo manual...

Not the right forum for this Q., it needs to run to have a cooling prob..:)

Might be a matter of reversing the 2...wires.

is have to agree with achilocus. looks like you have your "cpu sw"itch possibly reversed. you id like to say that on the back of the plug it should say ksp on ones with 2 sockets or 4 the ksp "should" be wired to be the negative
