ICH6 with NCQ ANYONE!!?!

pisses me off so much, i upgrade to a 775 rig and i can't run linux, im acually thinking about downgrading just so i can... i cannot get my ich6 controller to even reconize my maxtor maxline harddrive, the 250gig 16mb cache one. it runs with native command queing....

has anyone seen or have a setup like this that acually works...

i got it running, but still trying to get X working with my pci e card...

PCI-e is programmatically the same as pci.

If you are trying to use the proprietary Nvidia or Ati drivers though, maybe they haven't been updated for pci-e yet (I don't know)

nah the one in the portage tree wasn't new enough, i downloaded the one straight from nvidia.com and worked like a charm
