Im new to the A64, my comp is in signiture. Is multiplier go to 9 only ? If so, im running a 1.8ghz. can i push 2.2 without raising voltages ?

also, What voltages should i raise, and how far ?

A64's have a multiplier limit which is 9x for the 3000+ so the highest multiplier you can have is 9x200 = 1.8GHz. The only way to overclock to 2.2GHz is by increasing the FSB to 244MHz which will cause it to run at 2196MHz. However, you have to have good memory to overclock that far.

good memory to get to 2.2 ? arg... i wanted 2.2 easy and to push 2.3-2.4 .

right now i only have 1x512 cause my other stick is dead.

You can always change the memory speed to ddr333, and up the fsb speed from there. If you can get a better overclock without setting it to ddr333, by all means, do it. Your memory will most likely limit your overclock, but raise the cpu and ddr voltages if you encouter any stability problems. Report back with your results.
