Sandisk cruzer mircro problem!

i was reinstalling windows on my comp and when it detected the hd and the partition, it also detected my thumb drive that i didn't realize was plugged in. I mistakenly deleted the partition for the thumb drive, i realized this once windows recoginzed it but could not access it. It just says device not plugged in. I tried reformatting it, setting it to performance mode and formating it in ntsf and fat and neither worked. can anybody tell me what i can do, besideds trying to go back to where i baught it or sending it back to sandisk??
