Need help fast!

Question Need help fast!


i just got a new case for christmas and i was swaping the mother board to my new case and when i pulled off the heat sink the proscessor was stuck to the heat sink and i was wondering how to get the chip off with out breaking it so i can put it back on the motherboard.

I'd first inspect to make sure the cpu isn't damaged. Second, I believe you could through the whole thing in a plastic bag in the freezer for a bit and then it should seperate easily, or get some 70-91% isopropyl alcohol and see if that seperates the two.
