Tweaking XP shutting off uneeded services? Help please.

Hey guys,
I can't find a thread that used to be in the first 5 or 6 pages on tweaking XP by shutting off unneeded services. I tried a search but couldn't find the thread.

The one I'm looking for is a list of services and what they do and reccomendations of which ones I could shut off. Or..If you have a new list. My Mom just bought a AMD 3200+ PC (and this thing is really fast!?) and I want to tweak it so that all the unnesessary stuff is off so it can Fold better.
