Laptop monitoring programs.

Here's a little treasure I found, for keeping track of your stuff. It has a chart, and if you stretch out the window, the lines get more precise (vertically) and work for a longer time (horizontally.) I know it works with the IBM T2X series, and a few others.

It will chart CPU speed, temp, and battery charge/discharge rate. It will also chart HDD temp, if your HDD has that capability.

We might want to post other stuff here, as time goes on.

Great find! Works perfectly on my Presario 1700.

This will be great to have somewhere we can post links to little free/shareware apps for laptops like this.

I downloaded this and installed it. I don't know if I should be concerned about the temps or not. I do know Prescott cores run hot, but damn. I'm getting an average of 57C and the fan kicks on when I hit 60C. What are you guys getting?

I found this proggy too. Speedfan wouldn't work on my Presario 2100, this does. It amazyed me at how hot it runs (68° full load)

It could be correct, if his speeds were just a bit off. I'm thinking of 600Hz, and 1.6 KHz.

And was outside, at about 35 degrees F.

The monitoring shown on the graph is from boot, to idle, to doom 3, to photoshop, to idle.
