i have tryed SoftFSB and it just crashed my pc and ClockGen doesnt support my motherboard, i have searched my BIOD several times and i couldnt find he answer. any ideas guys?

the cpu isnt origional i added it in, it used to be P3 800EB Mhz
i have added in a GeForce 4 440mx and 384mb SDRAM

ooh well

thanks anyway, since i have a pga370 i guess the best i can go would be something like celeron 1.3ghz

It might not support the Tualatin core (Celeron 1.3), so the P-III 1000 Coppermine might be the fastest. It probably is not worth trying to upgrade it. Save your cash and start planning to move up to a P-4 or maybe even an AMD 2500+ if you are on a tight budget.

companies like HP/Compaq use intel motherboards and those don't really let you overclock.
