I've noticed my comptuer hasn't turned in a work unit for over a week now and I do'nt know what's up. I checked my log and I noticed it was very cluttered with odd messages liek this.

[02:08:03] Completed 210000 out of 250000 steps (84)
[02:23:05] Timered checkpoint triggered.
[02:38:07] Timered checkpoint triggered.
[02:43:11] Writing local files
[02:43:11] Completed 212500 out of 250000 steps (85)
[02:58:13] Timered checkpoint triggered.
[03:13:15] Timered checkpoint triggered.
[03:18:19] Writing local files
[03:18:19] Completed 215000 out of 250000 steps (86)
[03:33:20] Timered checkpoint triggered.
[03:48:21] Timered checkpoint triggered.
[03:53:29] Writing local files
[03:53:29] Completed 217500 out of 250000 steps (87)
[04:08:31] Timered checkpoint triggered.
[04:23:32] Timered checkpoint triggered.
[04:28:31] Writing local files
[04:28:31] Completed 220000 out of 250000 steps (88)
[04:43:32] Timered checkpoint triggered.
[04:58:33] Timered checkpoint triggered.
[05:03:29] Writing local files
[05:03:29] Completed 222500 out of 250000 steps (89)
[05:18:30] Timered checkpoint triggered.
[05:33:31] Timered checkpoint triggered.

I find it kinda weird that it would do weird things like that. Any ideas?

P.S.
I just bought a 1700+ that will be folding along with my 2500+ @2200MHz!!! I know it isn't huge, but I'm happy! :p :santa: :bday:

Those are normal messages, determined by the configuration setting for checkpoints. Default is 15 min, which is what your log is showing. I set mine to the max of 30 min. Looks like you're working on one of the newer 600 point BP WUs (post the protein name), so those long frame times may be normal for your system.

ahh 600 points.. ..so if someone gets a whole rig of them the same day..and turnes them in the same day.. wow. ..can you see it now? the whole team stoped becasie we all get 600 pointers.. then one day later that week ..or the next. we all turn them in and overtake everyone to 1st ? ..can u see it now

The 600 point WUs take a long time. There is no way they can be done in a day. I'm doing two of them on my dual 2100 right now. Each is going to take, about 95 hours. that's just under 4 days per WU.

Okay, as long as it's normal and the points will make the payoff worth the wait. I only have this one computer folding for me at the current time, so it's a tad bit upsetting to look at the score and realize that an entire week of folding has shown nothing. Thank you everybody for the input and help.
