Neo2 Platinum Backplate

I installed the everything on my mobo and put it in my case and then i read there is some adhesive on the backplate that i didnt notice. So should i take everything off peel off the paper stuff and then put it all back in? I really don't want to take everything off cause then i have to reapply the thermal paste and everything.
