ok someone i know just got an ipod and couldnt connect it to their pc, their pc was in bit of a mess so i took it away to format it and sort out another few bits.
after looking around i found that their ipod wouldnt work because they were only on a lower service pack. as i had a fresh install of windows i thought it would be best to upgrade now...
after installing service pack 4 i found the pc wont even boot, not even in safe mode. good old sp4's horror has struck again.
so anyway how can i get service pack 4 without all these problems?
Also if there is now way i can have SP4 then is there a patch anywhere i can get to use the ipod with SP3?
