moving to ohio once 2012 gets closer
i think its time for me to start overclocking this bad boy to break the 20k barrier

my ram is currently at 200mhz in dual channel.

timings are

2.5 4 4 8

my fsb is stock at 201 fsb

voltage is stock and it varies from around 1.422 and around there

if i pushed my fsb to 220 and left my ram completely alone

whats the worst that will happen?

any tips?

i dont want to lower my ram to 166mhz because that would make it slow and sucky.

at 200mhz my ram gets almost 5000 in benchmakrs tests :D

Yeah, don't jump to 220 right away.

First run everything at stock, but leave nothing on Auto. Make sure you can run Prime at that. Then start pushing the HTT (FSB in the bios), and keep testing with prime.

What week do you have?

brand new stock at newegg to. just restocked that day

btw increasing my fsb to 203 raised my score in 3dmark by 10 points
