I have a ASUS SK8V mobo, AMD 64 FX-53 (940 pin) and I've been trying all day to try and oc it but I'm not getting anywhere with it. Whenever I do get somewhere with it its not stable. I cant even get 2.5GHz to run stable. I've done just about every single combination of upping the FSB, CPU speed and voltage, unfortuantly there is no multiplier that i can mess with on the SK8V. I also can adjust the FSB over 205MHz or else it wont boot for me and I cant put the CPU speed over 2.5GHz or else it wont boot. I've also been told not to adjust the voltage over 1.7v so I have not gone over that.

Can anybody help me out with this, I'd like to get 2.6GHz stable out of it but 2.5GHz stable will be fine for now.

Heres my full setup:
ASUS SK8V mobo
AMD 64 FX-53
OCZ Enhanced Latency Series 1GB (2 x 512) memory ECC
Thermalright XP-120 heatsink
Fortan Blue Storm 500w

You can use software to change multiplier on the fly.
Download & Install GCPUID (my sig) and in the program, click the red stop watch
