I'm so confused

I'm building my very first system, and I need some memory. I thought I had a good idea of what I wanted, but I've been on here reading all the threads, and it seems like there are just so many good brands out there. So now I'm not sure what to get. I'd like 2x512, PC3200 (unless a different speed would be better), some high frequency low latency stuff, and price doesn't really matter too much. I need something that overclocks really well. The stuff I will be running it with is:

AMD FX-55
MSI Neo2 Platinum
(If y'all need anything else, just tell me)

I've heard TCCD is good and the Brainpower PCB is good. I've heard good things about OCZ Plat Rev 2, VX, the PQI platinum, Crucial Ballistix. But like I said I'm not sure, and y'all seem to know what you're talking about. Thanks ahead of time.

I have some OCZ 3700EL which is TCCD, runs 270+ depending on timmings.

I also have some OCZ 3200EL also TCCD running in an AG8 at 240 2-2-2-5 @2.8v FSB is limited by the CPU. Im going to pop this stuff in my AI7 with a 2.4c and see what the celing really is.

So, Id go for some TCCD or some BH-5. TCCD is everywhere these days, and BH-5 shows up used here and they, but is really hard to find. BH-5 is strickly for low latencies and high voltage. Losening the timmings on BH-5 doesn't yeild much more of an O/C. However TCCD can really gain some serious speed by loosening the timmings abit. I guess it comes down to what you plan on running it at.

Personally I would go for some OCZ TCCD, or some Kingston BH-5 <-- if you can find it. There are tons of people out their making ram, but I think these two companies do it the best.

Which OCZ uses the TCCD? And is 3200 a good speed to start with?

TCCD based RAM will probably be the best choice. Easily available, and not as voltage hungry as BH-5. I'm not aware of the voltage options of your mobo, but if I had 3.5 vDIMM available I'd probably go with OCZ VX.

When you know what chips the memory has, I don't think the ratings make much difference. This page lists lost of TCCD-memory:

3200EL/3700EL/4200EL

There might be more, but thats all that I know of.

A little birdie told me that the 3200EL often clocks better than the 3700EL at tighter timmings. My understanding is that the 3700EL is binned 3200EL that cannot run 2-2-2-5 timmings at a specific speed.

Thats a pretty old list. I don't see a lot of the new memory on there.

Not all TCCD does the same. If you can figure out why some TCCD is binned at 3200 2-2-2-5 and others are binned at 3700 2-3-3-8, than you will know not all TCCD is the same, nor does it have the same potential.
