Seeing the frame rate?

I often hear people talk about "I get xx FPS on XX game w/ XX video card" and, Now that I have my 6800 Ultra I am wondering how to display the frame rate.

Fraps is a good program for FPS measurement. Most games have a built in command for measuring FPS. In
CS: S you go to console and type "net_graph 1"
All the other recent games have a command to display FPS but I dont remember them off the top of my head.
