Help Overclocking an AMD Althlon 64bit 3000+

hey guys im new to overclocking CPU's so i thought i would ask for help here first before messing up.

AMD Athlon 64bit 3000+

well i would like to no how to overclock it and if anyone else has the same CPU and have overclocked it could u tell me what you did and how much u overclocked it.

i have tools like CPU-Z and CrystalCPUID but i have no idea on how to use them.

Please post your complete system specs...including PSU and heatsink...

This will help out a lot...

My System Specs are:

AMD Athlon 64bit 3000+
Package: Socket 754
RAM: 512mb DDR
GFX: GeForce FX5500 128mb OC'd to 310/480
Current system heat: 40'oc (would be lower except the comp is in a small room which means less circulation)
Cooling: Stock Air Cooling
Mobo: MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONAL CO, LTD
Mobo Model: MS-7010
BIOS: Pheonix Technologies

Current Voltage: 1.456v

is there a proggie that could tell me what PSU i have, because i only just got this PC and i cant b bothered reading the manual

if u need to no anything else jus say

So could anyone help me then?
