Cheap meanwell replacement

Hey I was looking at some info on TECs and extreme cooling and I noticed how high priced those meanwell power supplies are. I looked for a suitable replacement and found a 24v psu that is sub $50. I have bought from this store before and can vouch for there service and shipping speed.

It only carries 6.5amps on the line. That is definatly not enough to power a 226watt pelt. You need at LEAST 20-25amps for a tec.

well, that psu would only be able to handle a 24x6.5=156W pelt, if you're running a low-wattage pelt, that should be fine.

almost enough for a 172w pelt ..
