OS on Raptor or sata RAID?

I have a 74gb raptor and 2 80gb Maxtor sata hdd for RAID array. For best gaming & photo editing performance should I put XP on the Raptor or the SATA raid? Any downside to putting all on the Raptor?

Put XP on the raptor, and install programs to it. Use the SATA for storage. (photos, software, etc. basicly anything that you will NOT use daily)
