want to flash bios....

I have a saphire 9800se 128mb with samsung memory, is it possible to flash the bios to xt spec? I checked the core and its the r360.
If it is possible does any one know what bios file to use, I tried the sapphire 9800xt bios but i get an error.

Is the memory 256bit? In a L shape or I? You should try a softmod first to see if the pipes are good. Then maybe try a flash.

as far as i know the core doesnt matter. in fact, it would seem that having the r360 is better for the xt flash cause its the actual xt core. im planning on flashing my own 9800se to xt as soon as i can
edit: maybe you should try ocing first to check if the core/mem can handle xt speeds

Ive done it! I was using the command- A:\FLASHROM -P 0 ATI.9800XT.128.BIN and kept getting errors. So i tried- A:\FLASHROM -P -F 0 ATI.9800XT.128.BIN and it worked. My 3dmark03 results so far-
Standard 9800se score- 3473points
with softmod drivers enabling all 8 pipelines but standard clock- 5653points
with softmod drivers and max overclock (430/400) - 6630points
with 9800xt bios flash using standard xt speeds(412/365)- 6738points
I think this is a good result, do you?
This was on a p4 2.8c@3.5ghz watercooled.
All i need to do now is find out if i can read core temps. Any one know what i need to do that?
