CS:S comparison

Is there anywhere on steam or other websites that will show you peoples average FPS, along with their hardware? I am curious what other people are getting with a comparable computer setup.

I don't think there is.
I get an avrg of 40fps while in a fight at 1024x768 every thing else high but AA and AF.
My PC specs are in my sig.

i too get 40ish or a tad lower. p4 2.53, 512mb, and a 5900.

Remember, it depends greatly on how the system is set up. Like, what OS version, if winxp does it have the skin or not cos that can drop games fps upto 11%, how many programs running in the background, the list goes on.
Most benchmarks on sites are on new installs on the OS with only the game and the latest drivers, not all this other stuff us net users have ;-)
