Possible RAM slot issue?

Hi

Got a stick of Kingston ValueRAM (256MB, PC3200, CL3) here, trying to put it in a friends PC alongside a stick of Micron(I think) PC2100/CL2.5 but it doesnt want to work. Set it to do memory timings by SPD and tried the following:

1) PC2100 in 1st slot alone. Boots, works.
2) PC2100 in 2nd slot alone, doesnt boot, one long beep.
3) PC3200 in 1st slot, alone, boots and works.
4) PC2100 in 1st slot, PC3200 in 2nd. No boot, one long beep.
5) PC3200 in 1st slot, PC2100 in 2nd. Again no boot, one long beep.

Does this look like slot 2 is damaged? Its a Celeron 2.6 (D I think) in an OEM Tiny PC. It only has the two RAM slots.

Thanks,

David
