cost: 448bucks
week: production week 45
Store purchased: Circuit city
Issues:
--1 red dead pixel in central quadrant of screen.
--somewhat severe back light bleeding(see attachment). A noted problem with these LCDs over at hardforums. however, production week 43+ lcds should not be affected. Mines is week 45+ so apparently these problems go beyond week 43.
Concerns:
--So far I have seen bleeding and dead pixels so i assume there must be some sort of defect with this monitor .therefore, If i keep this monitor will bleeding and dead pixels worsen?
--Bringing it back and getting something worst
--I paid 448bucks; I want my moneys worth
Dilemma:
---Should I or should I not try to exchange this LCD?
