Right, I need to know the approx speed of an Old p2 processor. I don't have much knowledge of computers of this age since I've only gotten into the whole custom pc thing over the past few months or so. Anyway, I have gotten a Pentium II with MMX technology on an ASUS mobo.

Any help in identifying the core speed of the processor would be helpful.

Thanks.

I would, but all I have is the mobo and the processor, I'm not sure if it is compatible with everything else in my current comp.

On the top is something which seems to be a serial code:

B80523P400512E SL2SH 2.0V
98280134-0312 MALAY

The heatsink fan has a big holofoil sticker with the label 05819 in black and 109XI512H3036
DC12v 0.06a PAT.
SanyoDenki

I'll try find something similar on eBay.

Found out the model number to be SL2SH.

Thanks.
