Temp check

Just wanted to see if these temps were high or not based on what others are getting.

P4 3.0C @ 3.4 1.55V xp120 HSF
crappy chip though - SLEWK Philippines 16 chip 7403A728
full load I'm getting 52C with AsusProbe so I assume around 55C or higher
Idle drops way down high 30's low 40's.

Folding so the machine is never really at idle.

seems kind of high to me but it is running stable.

my 3.0c @ 3.4 idles at 28c peaks at 39c on aircooling

Those temps look ok to me, I've seen people with temps where 52C-55C is on idle , cheapest step from there would be more or better case fans.

With the rackmount lid off my load temp drops form 52C to 49C - so I guess there is some room for improvement. mostly at the expense of noise though. case temp with lid off drops to 26C from an absolute high of 32C at load of course.

I've read peoples results like whitehaze has, but even at stock I never came close to a 28C idle temp. My best idle at stock was around 32C. at 3.6GHz my idle went up to 38C or so. I just wonder how accurate that makes anybodies readings.

I have a seperate temp controller and it seems to be pretty much inline with what ASUS Probe says -- for whatever that is worth.
