Do you think that if games were optimized for Dual Core they'll beat AMD? Why or why not, just wondering if it's worth the wait.

I hope not. As long as AMD's benchmarks are a little higher, us Intel users will be paying less. xD

I'm a bit of both, I've built both AMD and Intel systems and see no real difference besides price. I haven't done any extensive tests though, but all-in-all, AMD is a better way to go, IMHO. Price is definitely important.
