Got an gigabyte 6600 plain(lol) 256mb PCI_E and started o/c...
Easily found the memory limit : arround 593 mhz (stock552)
raised the core speed from 299stock to 400 - 420 - 430with 3d mark03
and no artifacts at all.........................5800-6300- 6340 , also used an extra fan for cooling just in case...
1. Should i keep raising the core speed ?
2. should i put some heatsinks on my memory modules and raise the memory more...?
3. Both ?
4. Should i play with the pci-e frequency ( MOBO bios) ?
5. Should i try update to another bios (video card bios) ?
ANY HELP WOULD BE VERY NICE...
