WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!!!

Buy the Lian Li if only out of principal. TT is nothing more than a 2 bit POS company who steals origional designs by Lian and coolermaster.

Buy the real deal.

lol Thanks for that.

I was just looking around, and I want to say forget about that stupid TT.

It's now between Lian Li PC 65 and YY 0221 ( I see alot of mod potential in this case, and I really want to get into it some time )

They're both the same price, so what do ya think:

To be honest...the Lian Li is not that great...I still had to end up replacing all of the stock fans and mounting 2 side mounted fan on the side window and a top blowhole 80mm fan to get the cooling I needed...and if you dont have the right tools or money to get them...you can ruin the case in a heartbeat when modding it...I had to replace the sidewindow when I cracked it tightening up on of the Tt2 fans...

I ended up replaceing the stock fans with deltas at first...now run 6x Tt2 smart fans...which is why my system temps are between 18 - 21c most of the times...but for the price I had in the case and the mods and extra fans...I could of bought a good antec case and a nice water cooling setup with probably a few bucks to spare...

Wow, that would be awesome if I could find it. Does it still have the blowhole at the top?

I don't have any tools so far. But nearly any case would have better cooling that what I have now. XD

Well I couldnt tell a difference between my PC-65B and the 30.00 all metal case I had...the only difference I could tell was the weight...and that sure wasnt worth 190.00 more for weight I could of trimmed from the older case ...I bought mine when they first came out...within a month...

Once I modded the 65B is when I seen the difference...but crap...I had to spend another 150.00 for the tools and extra fans to get the cooling I was wanting...this is why I stated in the long run I could of had a real nice antec case and water cooling system for the price I have for this case and air cooling ...

Between those two, the Lian Li without a doubt.

Thermaltake isn't known for quality but for copying others designs.

I have a tt shark and I love it. You're gonna get a lot of fanboism here, meaning people have lian li and they'll tell you to get it just because they like it. They're both good cases: well built and sturdy. I personally went with the shark over a lian li because I think the lian li cases are ugly. It's my opinion. In all honesty, I'd go with whatever you think looks better. You're gonna be looking at it every day. It needs to be something aesthetically pleasing. If you like both, another factor is price. Unless you plan on overclocking like crazy, I doubt the temperature difference between the two (if a significant one exists at all) will make a difference.

Just wondering. But can you get an extension for the ATX power cables? It looks like they need to cover a fair bit of distance.

Yeah, I'm thinking about it. Have to buy fans though. More money gone, yay!

You are looking at two completely different ends of the quality spectrum. Thermaltake makes some of the worst quality cases I have ever seen, while Lian-Li makes some of the best quality cases I have ever seen. The Cooler Master case is a great case, but I would still choose the Lian-Li.

I would like to quote myself.
"...I want to say forget about that stupid TT"

I'm not looking at the TT anymore.

Well, I've decided to get a cheap, POS, decent looking case. I really need a new mouse, I chose the Logitech 510... I think a good case can wait a bit.

The case you are referring to is nice indeed, but it does NOT HAVE A REMOVABLE MOTHERBOARD TRAY. Personally, that is a deal-killer for me.

You are right...It does not have a removable motherboard tray.

Which to me anyway is no big deal...I would take the updated version over the PC65...Just my opinion but removable motherboard trays are way over rated.

Look at the percentage of cases out there that have them...Not many.

Why does a removable motherboard tray matter? You still have to open the side panel and unplug all the crap from the motherboard before sliding it out...
