I just got my dfi nf4 board and I'm having trouble fitting the zalman backplate on - it touches alot of small resistors on the bottom.

I don't want to tighten the bracket down for fear of crushing them - so I've resorted to stock cooling for now (ugh).

Anyone else run into this problem?

That could work, I'll have to try it and see. The only problem is that the bolts that go through the board into the backplate aren't that long, and I can't really find any way of extending them.

I'll try to post some pics, hopefully they'll illustrate better than I can explain.

Thanks

just bring the "stock" mounting bolts into your local harware store and look fo some w the same thread on them, but long enough to go from the clip on the hs to the mounting hols on the backplate
