Windoze 2000 Server and RAS - The "Default Gateway" and "IP Address" are the same

There is a server running Windoze 2000 Server and using Microsoft Remote Access Server (RAS). The problem occurs in both Windoze 2000 and Windoze XP.

I created a new connection for the VPN in Network Connections. I attached a screenshot of this.

When I connect to this VPN and run ifconfig /all, I get this information about the VPN:

Code:
PPP adapter Foobar:

           Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
           Description . . . . . . . . . . . : WAN <PPP/SLIP> Interface
           Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-53-45-00-00-00
           Dhcp Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No
           IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.5.3.102
           Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.255
           Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 10.5.3.102
           DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 65.32.1.65
                                               65.32.1.70

Note these lines:

Code:
           IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.5.3.102
           Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 10.5.3.102

The only information I could find about a problem like this was here, but this doesn't apply to Windoze 2000.

So does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
