Guys,

I am having problems with Dreamweaver. I appreciate it if anyone can help me. I saved a website page and editted it. Then, as I'm trying to upload the whole page to the ftp server, I get a message asking if I want to update the links. Since I didn't change any links at all, I clicked on no. Then, I get an error message that says "Unable to create remote folder '/www/il/'. Access denied. The file may not exist, or there could be a permission problem." I don't understand how there could be a permission problem if I have full access to the server. Guys, please help! I don't know what I may be doing wrong.

How are you uploading to the website? Are you doing it through Dreamweaver itself, or using a seperate FTP software?

i've had a weird issue like that. i switched to fireftp. a plugin for firefox to upload never figured out how to fix it. reinstalls didnt help. hopefully will tell us both the answer

I use dreamweaver to try to upload the revised pages. Plus, I also have a separate FTP software "WS_FTP PRO" that I have access to but I don't use that one to upload the revised pages.
