I'm running 2 fans, 3 Cold cathodes, an A64 @ 1.7V and 2.25ghz, 2 hard-drives, 2 DVD drives, an audio equalizer, a 6800GT, a TV-tuner, a PCI Raid card, and an 80watt TEC. This fortron is still on the lowest fan setting, and my 12V voltage rail is rock solid.

Just decided to throw this out, because this PSU just absolutely rocks. I bought it for $50 over a year ago, with 3 days usage on it.

Yeah it is a nice PSU. Too bad no PCI-E though or new motherboard connectors though.

Yeah it's a nice PSU. The lack of PCI-E and new motherboard plugs is a problem though.

Glad to hear of another happy 530w owner... if ever I had any doubt it could meet that 28A peak rating, I don't doubt it now.

Yep, and adjusted them with the pots inside.

Holding steady at 12.45V, 3.46, and 5.3. I've found that slightly higher voltages seem to help keep a highly overclocked system stable.

Mine did that before I dusted it out, it's probably due for another.

When it kicks into high mode, it gets pretty loud.

Moving my intake fan to the outside of the PSU case helped its cooling quite a bit - I can tell the difference already, though mine has never kicked the fans into high gear yet.

Mine used to for the first week when I was using an ultra low speed fan that was putting my CPU temp into the mid 50's...but it takes something extreme to get it to do that. Will be getting a new video card shortly, so I'll be able to put it through its paces.

sandman, how much did you pay for your PSU??? I just bought the Fortron Bluestorm 500W for a total of $98 from newegg. If its not much more than that I might consider cancelling the bluestorm for that one.

I bought it used last year, and since then the price for it has gone up. The blue storm is a better PSU too.

just got mine in...been up all night building - luckily my 6800gt came with a pcie adapter, so no worries there...but i didnt realize it only had 1 sata connector, i bought new sata2 drives with only sata power connections i was hoping to run in raid. i assume i'm going to have to buy an adapter for the second one? i really dont want to wait for another shipment! it's almost as bad as the thought of having to deal with compusa and their crappy employees and 500% markups.
