Question on CPU


Just wanna know if a 3.4E ghz is compatible with P4C800E DELUXE.

I've used a prescott on a P4C800 E Deluxe, but you have to make sure it's a 478 pin CPU. The LGA 775 pin prescotts will not fit in that board.

i think the max is 3.4E, higher than that is socket775, im considering getting a pressy, but which one would OC better 3.2E or 3.4E?

You will need the REV 2.0 version of the P4C800-e deluxe, It has the extra fets and caps on it for the prescotts
