Besides using heatsink on the cpu, what other components have you used it on? And did it help? Notice any difference?

The reason I ask is I am planning on putting some heatsink on my memory and thought about putting some on the motherboard chipset? I know people put it on memory modules, but I was wondering about the motherboard chipset itself.

I put heatsinks on everything when I first built the rig I am using now. I had one on the South Bridge but had to remove it when I added another card. I saw absolutely no difference in performance. If this helps you at all.
