Precondition Failed?

OK, Im trying to view a webpage (www.wordpress.org), and everytime I type the address, or click a link to it from another site, i get this error message:

Precondition Failed

The precondition on the request for the URL / evaluated to false.

There are other people I know who it works fine for, some on the same ISP as me. It was working fine for me on Saturday, and nothing in my system has been changed since then. No software has been installed/uninstalled, nothing. Ive tried rebooting my machine, turning my firewall off, scanning for spyware, restarting my cable modem and router, flushing my DNS, adn nothing has fixed it. Same error in both Firefox and IE6, BTW. Anyone got any ideas? Im at a complete loss right now.

if i had to guess, mind you this is only a guess, i would check your hosts files on your computer, windows, i assume

if that doesn't work, see if your firewall/ router, either software or hardware has any blocked url's, ip addresses, or if there is a QOS rule that is marking your packets for a lower priority.

If there was more info about your firewalling and router, it would be of more assistance to the members of this great forum

Fixed it. Configured my browser to use my ISPs webcache, and it works now.
