Weird half-locking problems... any ideas?

I've got a 2500+ Mobile that I've had OC'd now for, oh, 8 months? Maybe more. Anyhow, I'm getting these weird half-locks. It will hard lock in windows/games for about 5 seconds and then come back just like normal. I can't see any adverse effects (besides getting Disconnected in some online games - few though) from this, but I know that it's not normal and I honestly am not sure what it might be. Since it hasn't really given me any trouble thus far (stability- or performance-wise), I haven't really worried about it nor tested to see if it was something other than my CPU. Anyone eer experienced this or heard of this happening and happen to know what casues it? Cause if it's just an early sign of stability issues (it's actually been doing this for ~3 or 4 months) then I'm just going to go ahead and order another Mobile proc. Otherwise, I'd like figure out what's causing it, just so I can decide whether or not it's something that needs to be addressed or can be left alone until I upgrade.
