Half Life save game file

I am planning on formatting my rig and clean installing 2Kpro.

I am about hlafway through Half Life and I don't want to start over. Is there a way I can copy the save game file and add it to the newly installed game? I know this works in Q2.

Check in the halflife dir, and you should find the savegames in there. It works the same way as q2.

Sorry I can't give you the full path, I don't have half life on the machine i'm using.

inside of \Half-Life you wil find a dir called 'SAVE'. Keep a copy of the entire dir and then paste it back in. I've done this waaaaaay too many times.

Also dont forget your custom configs for TFC, DOD, Firearms, etc.
and your pldecal.wad if you have a custom spray paint.

Think of all the customizations you've made for the game and back them up.
