mounting evercool aluminum 120mm? (AL12025)

Just got 4 of them from xoxide and I can't wait to install but I have a quick question. Are they supposed to be screwed into your case with those short little fan screws? or are they meant to be through-bolted with machine screws? Thanks!

With the aluminum frame I would definately go with the through bolt method. Those short self tapping screws only work well on plastic and composite frames.

8-32 1.5 inch machine screws should work well.

If you want you could always go another method which I have done in the past. If you take a 10-24 tap those holes that fan comes with are the perfect size for tapping threads in them. So tap the hole and then screw the fan to the case. With some 10-24 screws

If they're all-alu I'd rather use machine screws.
