I have ordered a 3000+AMD athlon Xp anf am wondering wow bad it will out wit my 2200+Sempron? Also I should buy a mobo when I get the green and make a folding box.

it will pwn the sempron in gaming, TONS more mem bandwidth! go check out some benchies around, i'll get some links for you in a minute.

edit : my buddy has a 3000+ a64 and it rips up the folding pretty good, 600 pointer in about a day and a half
