A couple of days ago I had my A7N8X-e die on me :( . So I have just got myself a new one and I am putting it together now. But, on the old board I had a S-ATA RAID 0 array using the silicon image raid chip. If I just plugin my drives in the same order as I did the other time will it still detect the raid array? If not what will i need to do to get it to work, without having to loose all of my data.

Sometimes it will let you boot straight into windows with your current raid setup. If it doesnt then you could try the repair option with your original windows disk.
I dont think there is no hard and fast rule with this unfortunately.
