I am looking at my upgrade options for my next computer upgrade and one of the boards I am looking at if I go the Intel route is the AA8XE with a 6xx series, most likely the 640, chip. After reading Sen thread on his 640 chip it appears that he has problems OCing his chip because of EIST. I believe that the Asus board has the option for this, but it costs nearly $70 more than the AA8XE. I was wondering if there is an option to disable EIST on the AA8XE and if it does, does it work properly. Thanks.
